What is Pricelist Analyser?

Pricelist Analyser is mainly a tool to convert pricelists and productsheets that aren't based on any standard layout. It rebuilds the data to a layout to fit you requirements.
Pricelists and Product Sheets from your suppliers may appear in many shapes, and many formats. A standard in layout and organisation is often lacking. This results in time consuming administration to reorganise the products manually to be able to process them or to insert them into your own computer systems.
Pricelist Analyser focusses on these annoying aspects of your administration and allows you to automatically -in a matter of seconds- reorganise and import the pricelists in the way you determine. In a user-friendly "step-by-step approach" Pricelist Analyser will process all your pricelists, regardless of the way they have been constructed.
It uses an adaptive evaluation algorithm to analyse and import your products, based on a template. The software includes a wizard to define these models within minutes. A sophisticated screening system considers the position of each item defined in the pricelist. The software goes beyond the standard text import functionality by allowing imports with multiple lines per record and importing (multiple) headers.The resulting products are then imported in a stand-alone database.

I have an individual product database. Can I import my products?

Most definitely! Just export your dataset to a CSV of excelsheet. Then import it into Pricelist Analyser.

Definitely! This is the ultimate goal of Pricelist Analyser. It allows you to define your own export-format to make it suitable for any kind of export. In this way, the transfer of product-data can be fully automated.
Using the XML output or the flatfile will make this extremely easy.

Do I have to transfer/export all data each time I've imported new pricelists?

Absolutely not. The Export Module contains several filters to let you determine every subset of data that you want to export. Thus, Pricelist Analyser can be used as an intermediate layer to translate the orignal pricelist of your Vendor and be exported immediately to your own systems (

If I purchase it now, am I entitled for a free upgrades to next versions?

Yes. When you purchase a license, you are entitled to receive updates or patches. As mentioned on the Registration page, you have the possibilty to choose for an annual support contract too.

Is there a limitation on the number of records I can import?

No. Pricelist Analyser has been designed and optimalised to process large datasets (50.000 reocrds and more)

What is the maximum file size Pricelist Analyser will handle?

There is no limit whatsoever. The only drawback (of course) of large datasets is the processing speed.

Which formats of data can Pricelist Analyser process?

Pricelist Analyser is able to process Excel, HTML, dbf, csv a txt files. Currently we are working on EDI & XML-import.

What brings Pricelist Analyser as regards with e-commerce ?

Can I Use Pricelist Analyser on A Network ... ?

Yes, most definitely.

Do I need to contact Pricelist Analyser for a new license if I have to format my computer..?

Yes, and no. No what concerns your registration code. This will keep working. Yes, if the underlying database of Pricelist Analyser has been deleted and you want to recover your data.
It's always a good idea to make backups once and a while though :-)

In which languages is Pricelist Analyser available?

For the moment there are language packs for English and Dutch.
